What is Revive?

Health is something that we all have to keep in mind during this pandemic. But we don't only mean our physical health, but our mental health as well. Mental illness is something that affects millions of people and how they live every single day. But the sad fact is, is that most people don't even recognize mental illness as an issue and are unaware of it's consequences. Revive is an organization that brings much-needed awareness to these problems and helps combat them. Read about their amazing organization below!

Hi, we're Revive and we believe that every story matters! Our mission is to destigmatize mental illness, especially within minority communities. Here at Revive, we believe that the only antidote to mental illness is hope. Therefore, our members and entire team will do everything in our power to bring hope into your world!

Our Collaboration with Revive

​

Because of this pandemic, senior citizens are suffering in our community. They are alone, isolated, and have no reassurances for safety. In shorter words, they are in need of help.

 

To do something for these seniors, we are collaborating on a project with Revive. We will be sending masks to senior centers around us for the first time, packaged along with cards from Revive. The masks will help them stay safe and the cards will give a ray of hope in these dark times and help seniors cope with any negative feelings they might be having in isolation. This plan will be going into action in the near future, so stay tuned for that!
