This graphic design team will work on our mask-awareness campaign, “The Value Of One Mask”. 

 

Once you’ve read the information below carefully, please fill out this form!

 

The four things you will need to know are… 

 

1. WORKLOAD: How much workload you will get per week, when post designs will be due.. 

2. HOW TO DESIGN A POST: Which apps you can use to design posts, etc. 

3. POST REQUIREMENTS: Things that you HAVE to include in your designs.. 

4. POST IDEAS: Some potential ideas on which topics you can post about.. 

 

1.WORKLOAD:

Each member of the team will be expected to design one post every week. This post will be due on one day that members will choose for themselves. For example, you can choose for your due date to be Monday, and every Monday you would have to send a copy of your post design to us. 

 

This should take only about 1-2 hours a week. If you ever need extensions, please let us know at least 2 days before so that we can find replacement.

 

 2. HOW TO DESIGN A POST:

We recommend using a free online post-designer called CANVA to design your posts. Using Canva, you can modify the background, add text/decorations, and more. 

 

If you’ve never worked with Canva before, please make sure to take out a few minutes to explore and design a sample test or two. This way you will be familiar with its features and such. 

 

If you plan on using something other than Canva, please let us know so we can check it out and see if it works. 

 

3. POST REQUIREMENTS: 

 

a) Minimum of 2 pages: You will have to design 2 pages for one topic, make sure these 2 pages correlate with each other. 

 

b) Supple Information: Make sure to have a decent amount of text in each of the pages. One or two sentences per        page will NOT do, you will need to have good information on your topic. 

 

c) Aesthetic/Theme:  Aesthetics has a big part to play for this campaign, so please try to design your posts in a way that makes everyone say “WOW!”.  The color theme will be an important part as well. We have a color theme which you can find on our instagram. All members will be expected to follow this color theme for the rest of their posts. 

d) Content: Each of the pages must have a supple amount of writing and research with sources. The design must be interesting as well, with a lot of elements! Shapes, lines,

1. colors, pictures, try these out in your pages to make them pop!

 

4. POST IDEAS

 There are not many restrictions and/or requirements for post ideas. Just make sure they are related to masks/Covid-19! 

 

Season themed posts and content will be expected as well! For example, if there is a rise in covid-cases, try to make your post on that! If it is Christmas season, try making a post about how to stay safe during the holidays! These types of posts will attract more audience, as it will be more relevant! 

 

Here’s a list of potential post ideas you can use if you are having trouble coming up with some. Feel free to add to this and also make sure to highlight the one you are going to do.
